These T&C/EULA govern the use of the mobile application “Groopia” (hereinafter the “App”) and the related services. Provider: Groopia UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Straße der Jugend 18, 14974 Ludwigsfelde, Germany, Email: service@groopia.com. Any deviating terms shall not apply unless we expressly agree in writing.
User: any natural person who installs or uses the App. In-App Purchases: digital services purchased within the App via the Apple App Store. Subscription (“Sub”): automatically renewing in-app purchase with recurring term and payment.
The App enables, among other things, the discovery, creation, and management of groups as well as access to additional premium features (details in the App description). Features, system requirements, and supported devices may change through updates.
Certain features may require registration. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any misuse. Access by minors is only permitted in accordance with the applicable laws of their country of residence.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control and that are associated with your Apple ID; Family Sharing is permitted in line with Apple’s rules. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
You must not rent, lease, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App except as expressly permitted by law. You will use the App lawfully and will not infringe third-party rights.
You are responsible for content you submit. Prohibited content includes, in particular, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, harmful-to-minors, or copyright-infringing content as well as spam. We may block or remove content where there are legitimate reasons to do so.
Processed via Apple. Purchases and payments are handled through your Apple ID in accordance with Apple’s terms. The binding price is shown prior to purchase in the App Store and may vary by region.
Term & Renewal. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the current term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration. The renewal will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the period at the then-current price of the selected plan.
Cancellation & Management. Manage/cancel in iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; periods already commenced are not refunded pro rata.
Free Trials. Where offered, a free trial ends upon purchase of a paid subscription; any unused trial time lapses.
Example plans (non-binding; the App Store display is authoritative): Weekly e.g. €3.99/week; Monthly e.g. €9.99/month; 6-month e.g. €44.99/6 months.
Refunds. Any refunds are processed under Apple’s policies.
Maintenance and support for the App are provided solely by Groopia UG, not by Apple. Contact: service@groopia.com.
Toward Apple, Apple assumes no warranty obligations for the App. All product, legal, and consumer protection claims relating to the App should be directed to Groopia UG.
Our liability: We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations (cardinal duties); in such cases liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Statutory consumer warranty rights remain unaffected.
Apple Inc. and its affiliates are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and are entitled to enforce this EULA against you.
The App may use third-party services/libraries. Additional terms may apply, which you may need to accept separately. Notices regarding open-source components (including licenses) are provided in the App or on our website.
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. It forms part of these T&C/EULA.
We may change the App, features, pricing, subscriptions, or these T&C/EULA where there is an objective reason (e.g., security, legal, market). We will provide appropriate notice of material changes. There is no claim to permanent availability; maintenance windows may occur.
This EULA applies until terminated. Your rights automatically end in the event of material breaches. You may delete the App at any time; statutory rights remain unaffected.
You must not use or export the App where this would violate applicable export control, sanctions, or embargo regulations.
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumers habitually resident in the EU enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence. If you are a merchant, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Chemnitz.
We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board. EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
